Matthew Berry says Favre is a only a top 20 fantasy quarterback with the Vikings. Can you think of 19 other quarterbacks you would rather have than Favre? We tried and only came up with ten.

That's a nice list. I'd take those guys over Favre.

No one can deny that there are serious fantasy implications here, but I’d like to offer a slightly different spin. Most analysts are saying you have to immediately upgrade the wide receiving corp. While this is true, you also should really temper your expectations.

Favre's a middle-of-the-pack backup fantasy quarterback at best, but he will make some of the Vikings receiving options better.

Having Favre pass on the chance to play with the Vikings this season doesn't do much to hurt the Vikings' fantasy values.

Brett Favre says it's for real this time, and he has officially retired. Of course we will see, but apparently his decision was related to the aches and pains that the 40-year old experienced after basic preparatory workout sessions.

Brett Favre will give an interview tonight on HBO with Joe Buck (who is taking over for Bobby Costas). Should be interesting.

Favre actually did have surgery on his biceps. Sounds like he's determined to play for the Vikings this year.

Although Favre himself might not have a lot of fantasy value, he will significantly increase the value of all offensive players on the Vikings if he signs.

The Vikings are a scary team to play with Favre at QB, no matter what your opinion is about him.

Apparently the meeting didn't happen...but I definitely think Favre will be Minnesota's QB in 2009...The question is - will he beat out Rosenfels?

Amazing. I actually hope he comes back.

Wow, just wow. I thought it was all hype until now. That guy just doesn't know when to quit.

We all know he wanted to be a Viking last year and I think his bum shoulder midway through last year with the Jets gave him an easy excuse to quit. But now, he can finally get that revenge he yearns for. As a Jets fan, I'll be rooting for the old coot. Go get em' Favre.

The meeting was supposed to take place yesterday in Mississippi, but Childress was spotted in Minny this morning. Maybe they'll get together for Mother's Day?

And now it's not happening ... apparently Favre told the Vikings he is going to stay retired.

There's going to be a new rumor every day until the trade deadline ends, or until he signs with a team.

Yeah, I wonder if he just does it for the attention. Just sign with someone already!

Last year, I asked Brett Favre to join the Jets one month before he was traded. This year, my open letter isn't so kind.

A plane has taken off from Hattiesberg Miss, to Green Bay today. Will the Packers renew their "marketing" deal with Favre as Bus Cook and he threaten them with a second comeback to Minny? The plot thickens.
