Anyone doubting Earl and Jay are smoking crack. College forms a bond - Earl has talent - Preseason they look great - I just drafted Bennett in the 6t round just to make sure I got him (18 team league)

Jay Cutler is looking forward to tossing the rock to Earl Bennett - "Earl is going to be dangerous on the back side"

Perhaps no Bears receiver is more optimistic about the arrival of Jay Cutler than Earl Bennett. Cutler and Bennett played together at Vanderbelt in 2005, a year that he finished with 79 receptions for 876 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Bennett is good late round flier pick, but that is it. It would be quite a storybook ending for Bennett to succeed with Cutler once again throwing him the ball, but that is rarely how the NFL works.

It is rare, but I think it did happen once before that I can remember. Anthony Wright to Marcus Robinson back in 2003. They played together at South Carolina and Robinson caught 4 TDs in one game from Wright. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200311230rav.htm

If Bennett is going to breakout, it's going to be this season.
