Kevin Curtis, PHI

The Eagles have released WR Kevin Curtis. The 31-year-old spent 3 seasons in Philadelphia but missed 20 games the past 2 years. DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, and Jason Avant are locked into the team's top-3 WR spots, so Curtis wasn't worth the $4.4 million contract he was due in 2010. He's still capable of providing decent production as a slot guy, but durability concerns will scare a lot of teams away. The Bears might be interested in reuniting Curtis with OC Mike Martz.

Recovering from the sports hernia which cost him the first six weeks of the 2008 season, 31 year-old Kevin Curtis has declared himself '100 percent healthy right now', and appears ready assume a prominent role in the Eagles offense again this year.

That's good to hear. I was targeting him on waivers all year hoping that he would be a monster when he came back from injury. With Jeremy Maclin in the mix now, I'm not sure how playing time is going to be split up this year.
