Knowshon Moreno, DEN

Despite being selected 12th overall in last year's draft, Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno found himself in a time-share with veteran RB Correll Buckhalter last season. And it doesn't sound like that'll change in 2010. Broncos HC Josh McDaniels was recently asked about his thoughts on using a multiple-back offense. "That's something we'll always be interested in," McDaniels replied. "If there's another player we can put into the mix and share carries, we'll never be averse to that." It sounds like McDaniels will continue to pattern his offensive philosophy after that of Patriots HC Bill Belichick.

Knownshon Moreno is still out with a knee injury, but the remaining running backs aren't really doing much to impress. Moreno should be able to start again once he gets healthy.

Knowshon Moreno is entering his 5th day of holdout. He's working out at the University of Georgia now and isn't really close to a deal yet. Any longer and it might affect his fantasy value this year.

Actually, one report says he may sign within the next couple of days. I hope it's true so that he can start getting reps. Here's the link: http://bit.ly/K6Te4

Despite the fact that Moreno is running behind Buckhalter and Jordan in camp, he is working extensively with the no-huddle offense. This seems to point to him being the 3rd down back and a PPR monster.

Knowshon Moreno looked great in Broncos rookie camp, and is definitely the favorite to start and see the bulk of the load...PPR owners pay attention - he's a better version of Reggie Bush

Kyle Orton. That is all. Not a believer in the Broncos this year, nor Moreno's fantasy value. I'm looking at a 5-11 record for them and that's giving them three out of four wins against the Raiders and Chiefs

I'm more concerned about the Denver defense. If they're behind by 14 every game, I don't think they'll be running much in the second half.

Moreno is the best rookie to own for fantasy owners playing in redraft leagues this year.

That sounds about right. I'd like to know for sure that he's going to get the majority of the carries. If he does he could be a fantasy monster.

I'd still go with Wells. You know what your going to get with the Cardinals, which is plenty of goal line opportunities. The Broncos probably aren't going to be very good.

Yeah, they seem to be in rebuilding mode and I doubt that Orton is going to be very effective.

The Broncos release young, but scroll down to the bottom as the Denver post tries to make some sense of the Broncos RB situation

Moreno in Denver has a chance on ending the RBBC there. That would be a relief for fantasy owners for sure.

Yeah, I'm also hoping that Moreno will stand out enough in training camp to land the starting role himself. We'll have to wait and see though.
