Marc Bulger, STL

As expected, the Rams have released QB Marc Bulger. The move saves them $8.5 million. It leaves St. Louis with A.J. Feeley, Keith Null, and Mike Reilly as the only QBs on the roster and all but guarantees that they'll select Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford with the 1st overall pick in this month's NFL Draft. Bulger turned 33 years old today and has spent all 9 of his NFL seasons with the Rams. He'll get scooped up before training camps get underway but probably won't get a shot to start.

Long detailed article looking at Marc Bulger's potential fantasy value. The conclusion: "I don’t think Bulger is as bad as he showed last season"

He's one of the 32 players I don't see returning to their current team in 2010 http://www.theendzoneview.com/2009/06/32-players-that-wont-be-back-with-their.html

I guess there was some noise that Bulger could have been traded and Sanchez drafted by the Rams. Glad that didn't happen. Bulger isn't that bad. He just needs some protection from the O-line.
