Matt Cassel, KC

1
Cassel was sacked 42 times last season and threw 16 TDs/ 16 INT. Lilja and Wiegmann should help Cassel improve those numbers. The biggest addition for Cassel is Weis, and if Bowe can stay healthy, Cassel has a chance to shine. Cassel moves himself up to a decent backup option. He has the chance to play a significant role in 2010 if all the new changes in Kansas City click right away.

Officially say goodbye to Tyler Thigpen's fantasy career. I can't believe that they gave this kid that fat contract after less than a full season of NFL starts. Talk about being in the right place (NE) at the right time.

KC doesn't mess around. Big money for a guy who just started one season throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

The loss of Tony Gonzalez is going to dampen fantasy owner's desire for Cassel this draft season, but he still has the potential to be a successful fantasy QB.

I don't know. I'm kind of skeptical about Cassel this year. One good thing he has going for him is KC's horrible defense which will keep him throwing late in the game.

Cassel starting strong in KC. Maybe a resurgence this year.

All going to depend on that offense, especially the O-line. Cassel is the type who needs a good-to-great supporting cast.

Ya think Hazey? To be honest we have no idea how he will do without a supporting cast. This is one QB situation that is totally up in the air. You have to think that he takes a step back without the Patriot talent around him.

Yeah, in his debut year he was a solid fill-in. I think he can make a significant leap this year. Definitely fantasy-worthy in my book.
