Matt Hasselbeck, SEA

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll dubbed QB Matt Hasselbeck as "our guy". In other words, he envisions Hass as his week 1 starter. Meanwhile, Seattle will look to groom newly acquired Charlie Whitehurst as Hasselbeck's eventual replacement. Don't be surprised to see him at some point this season considering how miserable Hasselbeck was at times in 2009.

Yep I think the Seahawks will make a run at the NFC west title this season.

That would be great. Seattle really got killed by the injury bug last year. They didn't stand a chance with so many players gone. I think Hass has real talent, so I hope he gets an opportunity to rebound.

One thing that some might not realize is that Hass is learning a new offense this season. Although it is still a West Coast scheme, the terminology is much different.

Hasselbeck is rusty but in minicamp he "seemed to move well and throw normally." With Housh on the hawks now, I'm guessing that he'll have a decent year barring any other injury problems.
