Mike Bell's injury will give Thomas a chance to earn back the starting job this week if he can play, but Thomas was still limited last week.

I'm targeting Pierre in my leagues this year. Could be a good steal.

Pierre Thomas is simply a better running back than Reggie Bush. He's more rugged, more durable, almost as good of a pass catcher, and much better as a runner. Statistically, there's no comparison. Bush has struggled in each of his three seasons in the pros, never averaging more than 48 rushing yards per game or 3.8 yards per carry. Thomas, meanwhile, has aaveraged 4.8 yards per attempt in each of his two years. In the six weeks he's been in the starting lineup, he's been more productive than any running back in the league, averaging 82 rushing and 45 receiving yards, with 9TDs. When the Saints selected Bush No. 2 overall, almost everyone expected him a to score long touchdowns regularly. But in 40 games, Bush's longest touchdown run has been only 23 yards. In a fraction of the playing time, Thomas has scored on runs of 24, 31 and 42 yards. Bush lost yards on 15 percent of his carries last year, the 4th worst rate among players with at least 100 carries. Playing beh

Former Bucs coach Jon Gruden says that Pierre Thomas is the NFL's "best-kept secret" and that he is in for a big year. More lovin' for Pierre!

Thomas banged up his wrist at mini-camp last week. The same wrist he injured last year. It swelled up like a ballon and caused a great deal of pain. Possible cause for concern?

I am buying everything about Pierre Thomas this year. He will be undervalued no matter where he is drafted, which will almost definitely be after round 2. There is no way Bush stays healthy.

Bush's Workload has gone down every year in the nfl it seems. Yep look for Thomas to get better with time this season again.

I think Thomas is going to stay in a limited role. He'll poach some TD's, but I don't know if his fantasy value is that great.

Thomas will be a very solid RB2 this year. And will definitely encroach on RB1 territory some weeks. Don't sleep on him. Or you'll be sorry.
