The Broncos and Browns have agreed on a trade that will send QB Brady Quinn to Denver in exchange for RB Peyton Hillis and a 2011 6th-round pick. The deal isn't surprising considering the Browns wanted to move Quinn and the Broncos were close to trading for him last offseason. Denver did good to "buy low" on Quinn, who was a 1st-round pick just 3 years ago. Quinn will come in and compete with QB Kyle Orton for Denver's starting job.

Wow, I'm surprised, but I guess it makes sense now that the Browns have two new QBs in town. I'm not sure if this is a net gain or loss though...

Well, since no one else did it, I will. Quinn is the starter. According to Mangini, his selected starter is the guy for the whole season. If he is not the better QB or is equal to Anderson, then this is a face-saving move by the organization. Either reason, I applaud this move. The need to see what they have in BQ and give him the same opportunity Rivers, Manning, Ryan, Flacco, Sanchez, and Stafford all got.

The Browns rejected TWO substantial trade offers for Quinn, each of which was a #1 draft pick. That sounds like he'll be the starter this year.

Quinn is still a Brown even after the draft and all of that trading that happened in round 1. Maybe he's gonna stick around in Cleveland after all.
