I have been a little more hot on Slaton than the other editor�s here, but I have just cooled off. Chris Brown is poised to become the LenDale white of the Texans and it appears that just might happen.

With Brown's tendency to get injured, I wouldn't expect his handling of touchdown or short-yardage situations to last very long. But that said, I'm cooling off on Slaton as well. Perhaps his sharing situation will reduce his value a bit in the coming weeks.
