The Cowboys have released LT Flozell Adams. The 12-year veteran was due a $2.5 million roster bonus on top of a $5 million salary for the 2010 season. But the move is still a bit of a head-scratcher. Adams is getting up there in age and has always been a penalty machine, but he's still a solid blindside protector. Dallas now has a gaping hole at LT and will likely spend one of their first 2 draft picks on a replacement. Going into the season with a rookie at LT is a dangerous move though.

Apparently OC Jason Garrett had a heart-to-heart with Romo about his preparation for the season and told him to get in better shape. This might explain why he seems to break down at the end of each season.

And here I thought he just crumbles under pressure. But seriously, I don't think Romo listened because he wasted time he could have been working on football trying to make the cut at a pro-golf tourney a few weeks back. That's not what I want from my star QB.

Good breakdown of Tony Romo's value this year without T.O. Fantasy football fool puts him as a high tier-2 QB. Lack of WR depth and a potential emphasis on the running game will hurt him.
