Stallworth signs with the Ravens. It is hard to put too much stock into this. While Stallworth's speed has never been an issue, his hands and routes have. The Ravens' offense is best related to the Titans under McNair -- they are ball control, run-first, with play action to keep the defense guessing. However they are very content with their 4 yard chunks of offense.

Antonio Bryant

The Bengals and WR Antonio Bryant have agreed to a 4-year, $28 million deal. Bryant struggled with injuries and poor QB play last season, posting only 37 catches for 585 yards and 3 TDs. But he's only 2 years removed from that big 1,248-yard, 7-TD season in 2008. There's no denying his injury history, but Bryant is an explosive playmaker when healthy. He can also be a headache in the locker room though. Coupled with WR Chad Ochocinco, the Bengals now have the biggest boom-or-bust WR tandem in the NFL. Should be fun in Cincinnati this year...

Seneca Wallace

During a radio interview Tuesday in Seattle, Wallace was asked if he believes that his former coach Mike Holmgren is bringing him to CLE to start. "Yeah, that's the way," Wallace said. "I'm coming in with a lot of confidence and trying to come in and spark the team a little bit. It's time to kind of start fresh."

Chris Wells

With the loss of Kurt Warner and a potentially easy run schedule, Wells should be considered a top-20 back and a great sleeper. Hightower will make a dent, but only as much as Greene did last year to T.Jones.

All Hail Mike Martz, the bane of Tight Ends! The addition of veteran Brandon Manumaleuna and of course the arrival of Darth Martz is not good news for Greg Olson. And now we have the addition of a very good blocking TE that played with Martz in STL added to a team that already has a great receiving TE. Can we read into this? You betcha! The best that could happen to Olsen now is to get traded to a team like the Browns, Bengals, Bills, or other team with struggling WR play or that starts with a 'B'.

It is as I had feared... only much, much sooner. "We have two starters," Darth Martz proclaims almost a day after my posting. This is not good news for Forte owners. And in redraft leagues, this knocks him probably below RB20 in your ADP.

ESPN's Adam Schefter -- via his Blackberry, of course -- reports that the Chiefs have signed free-agent RB Thomas Jones to a 2-year deal worth $5 million. It's backup money, and that's what we expect Jones to be. The 31-year-old averaged an impressive 4.2 yards per carry in New York last season. But that was behind one of the best offensive lines in the game. He won't have that luxury in Kansas City. Expect the Chiefs to use the quicker and more explosive Jamaal Charles as their primary ball-carrier while getting Jones 8-10 touches per game. That being said, expect Jones to vulture the goal-line work. The move definitely puts a dent in Charles' value, but he still has top-10 upside.

The Jets add another piece to an already dominant defense. A conditional third round pick in the 2011 draft for Antonio Cromartie is a bargain! Wherever you have the Jets on your board, this move definitely pushes them up a round in my book.

NY Giants Defense

The Giants began the '09 season extremely strong until about the 6th week when teams realized they had no secondary. The signing of Antrel Rolle is the first step towards ending that disaster. But the impact will not be made by Rolle alone but if additional moves are made to compliment this or not.

Detroit Defense

The Lions have thus far added Terrance Taylor, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Corey Williams, and Ashlee Palmer. This does not make them good, but it does show continued improvement and commitment to fix what is not working. Last year's changes did make a difference to those that watched more than the box scores. There is no longer an atmosphere of protective mediocrity in DET and fantasy players should take note.

Osgood signs with the Jaguars. This is one of those moves that the savvy FFplayer pays attention to. This move gives the Jags more than one go-to WR. It will either help limit the double teams on Sims-Walker or Osgood will become a good "Hakeem Nicks" type WR. Either way, this is worth paying attention to.

Osgood signs with the Jaguars. This is one of those moves that the savvy FFplayer pays attention to. Osgood was stuck behind Floyd, Jackson, Chambers, and Gates on the Chargers. Yet when he played, he played big! He is 6'5 and averaged 19.5 yd/catch. This move gives the Jags more than one go-to WR and helps keep the pressure off the line for MJD. Definitely worth a late round pick as a deep sleeper.

Early Doucet

Boldin signs with the Ravens. This opens things up for Doucet. Though this does not make him a starter, obviously the Cardinals feel very confident in their current WR corps and Doucet did play well down the stretch in '09. I see him worth a late round pick worth the chance in case Leinart can step in strong.

Boldin signs with the Ravens. This move probably improves Flacco's stock more than it does Bolden's. Remember, Boldin is coming from a high-flying, pass-first offense to the Ravens ball-control, run-based offense. With the way Ray Rice runs, I can't see them giving him less work. Boldin is a good #2 WR right now -- don't overpay for Boldin.

Chester Taylor signed with the Chicago Bears. Taylor's stock definitely improves here, as he is a good pass-catching back -- which Forte is not. Forte declined in '09 to the detriment of anyone who drafted him in the first round. Cutler obviously is a gunslinger and did not look to Forte as an outlet. Very few passes in '09 and now being taken out on 3rd down?! This move may push Forte as low as the 4th or 5th round.

Chester Taylor signed with the Chicago Bears. Taylor's stock definitely improves here, as he is a good pass-catching back -- which Forte is not. If you expect the Bears to play from behind in '10, Taylor is a very productive option.
