Ted Ginn Jr., MIA

After the Brandon Marshall trade, MIA saw Ginn as expendable. He has been traded to the SF 49ers, for a 5th round pick (145 overall). Ginn is a talented receiver stuck with WR1 talent, but WR2 moves. He should thrive opposite Crabtree. I really like this move -- huge sleeper potential and definitely worth a later round pick!

WR Ted Ginn has had trouble hanging on to the football today 8/11. He dropped two punts during special-teams work, then saw a Chad Pennington pass zip through his hands to start 11-on-11 drills.

Ginn could end up as a PPR stud this year.

Dolphin coach Tony Sparano made a note of how impressed he has been with Ted Ginn during the recent OTAs. He suggests that Ginn might finally emerge as the #1 receiver Miami was lacking during last season, and even used the term 'dominant' to describe the recent play of the 3rd-year receiver.

Ginn will not have any type of fantasy value unless you are in a return league or there is drastic improvement in Miami's QB situation.

Wow, "dominant." I don't think that phrase has been used to describe Ginn since he returned that kick-off back for a TD against Florida in the NCAA championship game. Since then there hasn't been any dominance out of him. Interesting to see if he does develop this year.

Coaches always say that stuff. I'm not convinced. Still a bust.

Put Ginn on the Colts, Arizona, or even Houston and he would be a much larger influence. Location is always the key. How well do you think Firzgerald would do with Seattle? Good but not an MVP in the Super Bowl or on the cover of Madden.

Yeah, that's a good point. Ginn has had pretty crappy quarterbacks so far.

WAY to early to declare him a bust
