Tom Brady should redeem himself this week against the Titans, which earns him the Hot Hand Start of the Week

First, Brady's missing that zip on the ball. Now, Randy Moss misses practice. The Patriots haven't looked like themselves, and Brady will have to bring it together to get them back on track.

Brady returned to form this Sunday (in the snow, no less), but I'll believe it when I see him do it again against Tampa Bay.

Tom Brady cannot keep up with Drew Brees in final Football Jabber cut.

A bunch of week 1 preseason games in 5 minutes or less ... exactly how long most preseason games should be.

Here's an argument that Brady (and Moss) will be #1 again this year.

If Tom Brady comes back at anything close to full strength, and the six draft picks from the second and third round can contribute this year; the Patriots will have an excellent chance to be the best team in the AFC.

Drafting Brady may be more affordable this season as he returns from his injury, but I expect him to be a little rusty at the start.

My thoughts also. I hope people continue to overlook him so that I can draft him cheap. As long as he has Moss, he's golden.

Don't forget Welker and his 8+ catches a game. Wherever you draft Brady, he will cheap. He should be going in the first round.

That seems reasonable. Carson Palmer was also a little rusty when he returned from his knee surgery. But Brady is still coming off of that awesome season. I've been drafting Brady in a lot of my mocks so far this year.

Brady addressed the media for the first time since his season-ending injury. Says he's feeling good.

Tom Brady also said he fully expects and wants to play in the pre-season. How much? I bet very little.

Patriot Fans and Fantasy owners have to wait just a little longer to see Tom Brady in a uniform.

I'm still going Drew Brees as the QB1 but Tom Brady is penciled in as the second QB off the board at this point.

I would be the farm that Brady is the #1 QB this year in fantasy leagues. He will have a chip on his shoulder after having to sit out the majority of last year.
reply

2
I'm not in any fresh leagues this year...yet...so I won't be drafting. BUT I would also see Brees as the top dog right now as well.

Tom Brady's recovery is almost complete. He says he's working without limitations. Seems like plenty of time for him to get to full strength.

That's good. It's been a while since I've heard anything about his condition. Pencil him in for 30 TDs, 4,200 yds.

Is Brady going to be back to full strength this season? Any after-effects or tenderness in his knee? Should I mark him down for 50 TDs again?
reply

1
I think marking anyone down for 50 TD's is a stretch. Take anything over 35 as a bonus.
