Knowshon Moreno, DEN

Knownshon Moreno is still out with a knee injury, but the remaining running backs aren't really doing much to impress. Moreno should be able to start again once he gets healthy.

Ah, good point. It seems believable, but you're right it might just be made up. It would be nice to see him in camp soon though.

Michael Crabtree is so serious about his holdout that he's threatening to hold out the entire season and wait for next year's draft. Anything less than $23 million is "unacceptable" to him.

Reggie Kelly ruptured an Achilles tendon and is out for the year.

Denzel Washington is apparently talking some sense into Chad. Maybe it's enough to turn him around and get him focused on football this year.

Ben Roethlisberger, PIT

Looks like there aren't any plans to investigate Roethlisberger criminally, so he shouldn't miss any playing time.

Yeah, it could hurt Flacco a little bit. Mason was always a solid outlet for him.

The haze puts edwards down as a solid QB#2. I'd have to agree. I'm not willing to bet on him as a starter, but so far any QB that has had TO to throw to has done really well.

A writer at the bleacher report projects Forte to get 1,400-1,500 rushing yards, 400 receiving yards, and 10-15 touchdowns. Kind of optimistic, but reasonable.

Yikes. That's it for me. I'm staying the hell away from him. He sounds very fragile.

A fantasy duel between Steve Slaton and Chris Johnson. I'm more convinced that Slaton is the better choice.

Not that he's fantasy-worthy (or even in the NFL anymore), but someone pretended to be Tim Rattay on Twitter. Kind of pathetic really.

The website Football Outsiders asked their twitter followers to estimate what LT would do this year. Their average stats for him were 279 carries, 1181 rushing yards, 12 rushing TDs.

Always tough to judge rookie WRs. They all have lots of hype and only 1, maybe two do anything. It's always a good rule of thumb to downplay them, but you just never know.

Plaxico Burress, NYG

That would be an interesting place for him to land. Plax has talent, that's for sure. The TB offense could be pretty solid with him and Bryant.

Dwayne Bowe, KC

Good! I'm glad that someone else thinks the same way. He seems somewhat talented, but that offense isn't great and you have a good point about the new QB. I think one other successful new WR/QB combo could be Owens/McNabb, but again, there aren't many.

It is rare, but I think it did happen once before that I can remember. Anthony Wright to Marcus Robinson back in 2003. They played together at South Carolina and Robinson caught 4 TDs in one game from Wright. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200311230rav.htm

That's good. I targeted him last year expecting that "vintage" form. Hopefully it comes back this year.

Sounds like his career is going to be cut short. Just too much beating.

Michael Crabtree, SF

Interesting. I'm guessing that it's just a formality that they're not declaring him a starter yet. Josh Morgan shouldn't be too hard for him to beat.

Matt Hasselbeck, SEA

That would be great. Seattle really got killed by the injury bug last year. They didn't stand a chance with so many players gone. I think Hass has real talent, so I hope he gets an opportunity to rebound.

Sanchez went 1 for 9 in camp so far. Sure, he's new but that's not reassuring to the Jets yet.

Colston's injury was a microfracture in his knee. He's back in practice now, but it's not clear if there will be lingering effects from surgery.

Deuce seems confident about a solid return to football. I think that at 30 years old he's gonna have a hard time doing so.
